Acquired by the present owners as a fully working farm in 1978, Markham, as a centre of excellence, dates back to 1928 with the building of a state-of-the-art dairy unit, attracting farmers far and wide to see the finest technical design: stylish, efficient and kind to cows!
Today, the dairy unit is replaced by light, well-serviced, 500 sq.ft. (approx) studios and workshops. The 'occupiers' are now artists and craftspeople, creating a wide range of decorative and functional products and artefacts for interior or exterior situations and to the highest quality of innovative design.
